Overview

This extension helps "weigh" ad creative within DFP. It's only intended to be used in DFP.

This extension is for use within DFP for creatives. The extension only works on the creative detail page. It looks for the link to preview the creative and uses that URL to analyze creative weight. It does three different types of analysis. It loads the creative in an iframe and calculates the time it took to load in the iframe. It uses the PageSpeed Tools insight API to load the creative to get a count of the number of bytes total and broken down by html, css, image and javascript. The last test it can do is a WebPageSpeed test. To enable WebPageTest, you must enable in the options and provide a valid key. This is an initial proof of concept done for TAM's who wanted to know more about their publisher's creatives.
