Ad Cleaner for Kick removes the ads that are baked directly into the Kick video stream — the server-side (SSAI) ads delivered through Amazon IVS. These ads come from the same CDN as the broadcast, so ordinary blockers like uBlock Origin or AdGuard cannot remove them: there is simply no ad URL to block. This extension works at the player level instead. It hooks the Amazon IVS streaming Web Worker, requests the channel's ad-opt-out playback stream from Kick's own official API, and swaps the ad playlist for the regular broadcast. The result: where an ad break would play, the real stream plays instead — with no black screen and no pause. Seamless.
