ActivTrak Assist Chrome extension gives your organization visibility into digital work activity to track key employee productivity indicators. It's part of the ActivTrak workforce analytics platform, deployed by your employer's IT administrator. It requires the ActivTrak Agent to be installed on the same computer (Windows or macOS) and does not function on its own. What this extension collects: Browsing activity Website usage Time-on-task signals from your Chrome browser Text input* *When your organization enables it for specific AI applications or websites, the extension also captures the text you enter into those AI tools (for example, ChatGPT, Gemini, or Copilot prompts). That input is processed for AI data insights used in your company's reporting. Text capture is off by default and is enabled by your organization's administrator on a per-application basis. Automated redaction is applied to remove detected personal identifiers before data is stored once it has been processed. ActivTrak does not sell user data or use it for advertising.
