ActAs Passkeys
Overview
Use account-scoped passkeys stored and signed inside ActAs.
ActAs Passkeys connects websites' WebAuthn registration and sign-in requests to the login items you select in ActAs. Sign in to ActAs from the extension and approve specific login items. Private ES256 passkey keys are generated, stored encrypted and used for signing inside hosted ActAs; they are never sent to the extension. The extension returns only the public WebAuthn registration or assertion to the selected website. Other websites keep using the browser's normal credentials flow. The extension connection cannot reveal passwords, authenticator codes or other vault secrets. Access expires after eight hours, is kept in extension session memory, and must be reconnected after a browser restart. Disconnect in the extension or revoke access in your ActAs workspace. These are software passkeys. They do not perform biometric or PIN user verification. Sites that require that verification are not supported. An existing ActAs workspace and Pro access are required; compatibility depends on the website's WebAuthn requirements. Registration is limited to an existing login item's exact saved HTTPS site. The extension does not create accounts on external websites.
