Overview

Follow newsletters and sites for print and e-ink digests, or send any article to your Kindle, Kobo, or e-reader with one click.

Acta sends you your favorite newsletters and articles in a print magazine, as well as to your Kindle, Kobo, Boox, or any e-reader — typeset as a clean, ad-free EPUB. This extension works two ways: - Follow a newsletter or blog you read often — click "Follow this blog" on any site with an RSS or Atom feed (not just Substack), and new posts are picked up automatically and added to your Acta queue as you publish/read them. - Save any article, anywhere, with one click — on a page you don't follow, click "Save this page" to send it straight to your Acta library and device, no subscription required. Open the extension popup to decide what happens to each saved post: send it to your device right away, or add it to your daily digest, weekly digest, or the print magazine. A badge on the toolbar icon shows how many posts are waiting for a decision. The extension only requests access to a specific site when you explicitly follow it — it doesn't request broad access to your browsing upfront, and doesn't track anything outside of Acta's own domain and the sites you choose to follow. Requires a free Acta account (actadigest.com or your self-hosted instance) and your personal extension token, found on your Acta dashboard under "Browser extension."
