Acrux — claude.ai companion
ExtensionTools
Overview
Tells the Acrux desktop companion when claude.ai is generating vs waiting on you.
Acrux is a desktop companion that shows whether Claude is working or waiting on you. This extension extends it to claude.ai in your browser — chat, Artifacts/Canvas, and claude.ai/code. While Claude is generating a response your companion "works"; when the turn finishes it flourishes and rests in "done". It pairs with the desktop app over your own machine's loopback (127.0.0.1) using a code you copy from the app. It sends only a tiny on/off state signal to the local app — never your conversations. It watches the timing of claude.ai's response stream, not its content. Requires the Acrux desktop app (free, open source).
