Video Speed Controller adds a compact, draggable control panel to HTML5 videos, making it easy to change playback speed without leaving the page. Pro unlocks: - Support for HTML5 video on general websites. - Eight customizable speed buttons from 0.05x to 16x. - Custom seek intervals and keyboard shortcuts. - Play/pause, forward, rewind, looping, and hold-to-boost controls. - Optional per-video playback-position memory. - Optional synchronization of supported settings between Chrome devices. - Themes, opacity, size, placement, and other controller appearance options. - All-time and per-site time-saved statistics. - Silence Skip Beta, which temporarily accelerates low-volume sections where browser and player restrictions allow local audio analysis. The extension's purpose is limited to controlling and enhancing HTML5 video playback. It does not insert advertisements, sell user data, or send browsing URLs, page text, video content, audio content, or local usage statistics to the developer's servers. Settings, optional playback-position memory, and usage statistics are stored through Chrome's storage APIs. Video positions and browsing-related statistics remain on the device. If the user explicitly enables Chrome Sync, supported extension settings are synchronized through Chrome; video history and positions are not synchronized. Pro license activation and validation use an HTTPS connection to the extension's Cloudflare Worker and Creem. The extension sends only the license credentials and a randomly generated installation identifier required to activate and validate the license. Payments are completed on Creem's website, and the extension does not receive or process card or billing information. Compatibility may vary because websites, browsers, embedded players, cross-origin media, and DRM-protected content can restrict playback control or audio analysis.
