Accumen Outreach Tracker

Records what happens to outreach you send from Gmail or Outlook, without your mail ever leaving the browser.

This extension does nothing on its own. It requires an Accumen account on a paid plan, and works only alongside it. If you do not use Accumen, there is nothing here for you. Accumen researches prospects, proves their email addresses, and writes your outreach sequences. This extension is the part that watches what happens after you press send. HOW THE TWO WORK TOGETHER 1. In Accumen, you prepare an email sequence for a set of companies. That is what gives the extension something to watch — until you have prepared a sequence, there is nothing for it to recognise. 2. You send those emails yourself, from your own Gmail or Outlook. Accumen does not send on your behalf, which is exactly why it cannot otherwise see what happened next. 3. The extension notices when a thread in your mailbox involves one of those companies, and records what became of it. 4. That record appears back inside Accumen — on the prospect's own timeline, in the Vault's outreach history, and in the counts on your board. You never enter anything twice. Because Accumen already knows precisely what you prepared and when, and the extension observes what came back, the two together give you the thing cold outreach normally never has: a straight answer about whether it worked. WHAT IT RECORDS ON ITS OWN Sends. Accumen otherwise assumes a message went out because you exported it. The extension replaces that assumption with the fact, and with the real date. Bounces — and crucially, why. A mailbox that does not exist means the address was wrong. A real mailbox refusing an outside sender does not: it means you reached a distribution group or a restricted inbox, and the address was perfectly good. Most tools show you one bounce number and let you conclude your data is bad. This one tells you which of those actually happened. Auto-replies, counted separately from real ones. An out-of-office proves a mailbox is live and nothing more. Counting it as engagement would make a sequence look like it was landing when nobody had read a word. Where the auto-reply names a colleague to contact instead, that is surfaced too. WHAT IT ASKS YOU ABOUT Replies from a person. Whether that counts as interest is a judgement, and a wrong answer recorded silently would corrupt the very record you use to judge everything else. So it shows you the thread and asks. WHAT LEAVES YOUR BROWSER Outcomes only: which prospect, what happened, and which email in your sequence it relates to. Message bodies, subject lines, sender names and recipient lists are never transmitted. The single exception is a delivery-failure notice, which is forwarded so its cause can be determined — the wrong-address versus refused-mailbox distinction above requires the wording of the notice. That is a mail server's report about a message you sent, not correspondence. The content scripts hold no credentials and make no network requests of their own. Everything goes through the extension's background worker. WHAT IT DELIBERATELY DOES NOT DO It does not track opens or clicks. Both require a hidden tracking image or a rewritten link, which is precisely what the security gateways in front of business recipients score against an unknown sender — the same gateways your outreach has to pass. Mail clients now pre-load images anyway, so the number would not be true. Everything this extension reports demonstrably happened. SETTING IT UP 1. Install the extension. 2. Open Accumen and go to Settings, then Connections. 3. Press Connect. There is no second account and no second password — it uses the session you are already signed in with, and you can revoke it from the same screen at any time. It records nothing until you connect it, and nothing at all from a mailbox other than the account you connected. If you have a second Gmail open in the same browser, its mail is ignored. REQUIREMENTS An Accumen account on a paid plan that includes outreach tracking. Gmail or Outlook on the web, in Chrome. The extension has no free mode and no standalone mode — without a connected Accumen workspace it has nothing to match against and records nothing.
