Overview
Finds the videos on the page you are viewing and saves each one as an MP4 file, with the picture and the sound together.
AccuDownloader lists the videos on the page you are viewing and saves them to your computer as ordinary MP4 files that open in any video player, including QuickTime and Quick Look on a Mac. Open AccuDownloader from the toolbar and every video on the page is listed with a picture of it, its running time, its resolution and roughly how much space it needs. Choose a quality, click download, and the file is saved with the picture and the sound together in one MP4 file. A tick on the row and on the toolbar icon shows when each download has finished, and the row says which folder the file went to. What AccuDownloader does: 1. Finds videos that a page plays directly, as well as videos the page streams in HLS or DASH format, including videos inside embedded players. 2. Shows a picture of each video, taken from the page or from the video itself. 3. Lists every available quality with its resolution, codec, bitrate and estimated size, and says whether that quality includes sound. 4. Joins a stream's separate video and audio into one MP4 file without re-encoding, so the quality of the picture and the sound is unchanged. 5. It can pause, resume and cancel each download from the list. 6. It opens a finished video, or shows it in its folder, from the video's row. 7. Names each file after the video rather than after an address. 8. AccuDownloader can stay open in its own browser window while a batch of downloads runs. 9. A history of every video you have saved is kept on the settings page, searchable and sortable, with the folder it went to, its quality and its size. 10. It lists every video in a playlist or a course list, so the videos can be saved together. 11. It saves a video that offers several languages in English, or in the language chosen for that video or set in Settings. 12. It records a live broadcast from the moment you click Record until you stop the recording or the broadcast ends, and saves the recording as an MP4 file. 13. It plays a low-quality preview of a video in the AccuDownloader list, before anything is downloaded. What a licence adds: 1. Choosing the folder that downloads are saved to. 2. Running several downloads at the same time. Without a licence, downloads run one after another. 3. Saving qualities above 720p. Without a licence, the best quality up to 720p is saved. 4. Saving the videos in a playlist. A licence costs US$24, paid once, and can be moved between computers by removing it from one and entering the key on another. AccuDownloader does not save videos from YouTube, and it does not save videos protected with DRM. Privacy: AccuDownloader has no account, no analytics and no advertising. It reads the page you are viewing on your own computer to find videos and sends nothing about you or your browsing anywhere. The only information it sends is your licence key, to accudownloader.com, to confirm the key is genuine. Please save only videos you have the right to keep, such as your own recordings, or course material that its provider allows you to download.
