Overview
Detects AI-generated and manipulated images on any webpage with real-time badges, patch forensics, and 100% on-device privacy.
VeriPixel helps you judge whether an image is real or AI-generated. It scans images as you browse and puts a small badge on each one, so you can see at a glance which pictures look suspicious. HOW IT WORKS • Browse as usual. VeriPixel automatically scans the images on the page (very small images are skipped). • Each badge shows a result: likely real, suspected AI, or AI detected. • Open a badge to see why, including which regions of the image looked suspicious. • Run a deeper analysis on a single image when you want a more thorough check. • Use the toolbar popup to see everything scanned on the current tab, or to switch the extension off. WHAT IT CHECKS • Visual patterns typical of AI-generated or manipulated images, region by region • Image metadata, such as camera information (EXIF) and C2PA Content Credentials (signed provenance data), when present PRIVACY All analysis runs on your device with a built-in model. Your images are never uploaded, and nothing is sent to the developer or any third party. No account, no tracking. GOOD TO KNOW No detector is perfect. Results are an indication, not proof. Use VeriPixel as one signal alongside your own judgment.
