Your private AccountProxy identities, securely in the browser. Connect with a read-only API key that you control: you choose which identities it can see, and you can revoke it at any time. AccountProxy gives you separate identities, each with its own email inbox, without your name, email address or phone number. This extension is for AccountProxy users. What it does - Shows the number of unread emails across your identities as a badge on the toolbar icon. - Lists each identity with its unread count when you open the popup. - Lets you mark an identity as read in the extension. This only changes what the extension shows; nothing in your account changes. - Optional: a system notification when new mail arrives. Notifications show a count only, never identity names or message content. - Follows your browser's light or dark theme. How to connect 1. Sign in at accountproxy.com, or create an account. 2. Open Dashboard > API access and create an API key. Choose which identities it can see, and whether it may include identity names. 3. Paste the key into the extension and press Connect. The key is read-only. It can read total and unread counts and, if you allow it, identity names. It cannot read, send or delete email. You can revoke it at any time from the dashboard. Privacy - The extension contacts accountproxy.com only, and sends nothing before you press Connect. - Your key, counts and settings are stored on this device only. Disconnecting removes them. - It checks for new mail every 5 minutes, and stops checking if the key is revoked. - No analytics, no tracking, no remote code.
