Accessibility Reader turns any article into a clean, comfortable reading view — with the fonts, colors, and controls that work for YOUR eyes. A small floating "Aa" button sits quietly in the corner of every page. Tap it and the article opens in Focus Mode: ads, sidebars, and clutter stripped away, leaving just the words. A floating button bar then gives you one-tap control over everything while you read. (Prefer the toolbar icon? That still works too.) READING COMFORT • Focus Mode — extracts the article and removes distractions • 27 reading fonts, including two drawn specifically for accessibility and built right in, with nothing to download: – OpenDyslexic (the default) — weighted letter shapes that help readers with dyslexia tell similar letters apart – Atkinson Hyperlegible — from the Braille Institute, designed so easily-confused characters stay distinct for low-vision readers • Plus popular choices like Arial, Verdana, Georgia, Noto Sans, Century Schoolbook, Garamond, and more • Dark mode with one tap • Adjustable text size, line spacing, alignment, and margins • A+ and A− buttons on the bar for instant bigger or smaller text while you read • Brightness dimming for reading in dark rooms • Fullscreen mode for zero distractions LISTEN INSTEAD • Read Aloud speaks the article with text-to-speech — pause and resume anytime BUILT-IN DICTIONARY • Select any word to see a quick definition right on the page — no need to leave the article SHARE WHAT YOU'RE READING • Send an article on as a single self-contained file that carries your reading setup with it — your font, text size, spacing, and dark mode travel along, so it opens just as comfortably for whoever receives it • Long-press (or right-click) the share button to send plain text instead, for SMS and other text-only apps MADE TO FIT YOU • The floating button bar can sit on the right or left edge of the screen (great for left-handed use on phones and tablets) • Drag it up or down to wherever your thumb rests • It fades out while you read and wakes with a tap • Show only the buttons you use — hide the rest in settings • Four button sizes, from compact to extra-large — bigger, easier tap targets if you want them • Settings open right on the page, so you never lose your place • Don't want the Aa button on every page? Turn it off and use the toolbar icon instead Your settings are saved and applied automatically on every page. Open settings from the gear on the floating bar, or right-click the toolbar icon and choose "Options". Designed for desktop Chrome and other Chromium browsers (Edge, Brave, Vivaldi, Opera). On Android, Google Chrome doesn't support extensions, but extension-capable browsers such as Mises can install it too. PRIVACY This extension stores your settings locally in your browser. The only data that ever leaves your device is a single word when you use the dictionary lookup, sent to the free Dictionary API (dictionaryapi.dev) to fetch its definition. Sharing an article happens entirely on your device — the file is built in the page and handed straight to your system's share sheet. Nothing is tracked, collected, or sold.
