Accessibility Cloud Companion is the manual-testing counterpart to Accessibility Cloud's automatic scanning. It runs entirely in your browser as a side panel (Alt+C), so you can audit any page you can open — including localhost, dev builds, and VPN-gated staging environments no hosted crawler can reach. AUDIT — guided manual testing • Detects the components actually on the page (navigation, forms, tables, media, dialogs, and more) and builds a tailored checklist from a catalogue of 600+ checkpoints covering WCAG 2.2 and best practices. • Walk each component's tests, record Pass / Fail / Not applicable verdicts, highlight the exact elements on the live page, and capture element screenshots as evidence. • Automated results pre-fill what software can decide, so your time goes into what needs a human judgement. Verdicts are remembered across pages, so repeated components (headers, footers, menus) aren't re-tested on every page. • Findings — including your own custom findings — accumulate into a single audit you can import into Accessibility Cloud for report creation.
