Overview
Checks labels, alt text, contrast, ARIA and structure directly on the current page.
Accessibility Audit is a lightweight browser extension that checks the current page for common technical accessibility issues directly in the browser. It helps identify missing labels, empty or missing alt text, contrast issues, ARIA problems and structural weaknesses without switching tools or running an external scan. The extension is built for fast technical checks during development, QA and client reviews. It focuses on practical findings that can be spotted immediately on the live page and highlighted directly in context. What it checks: • Missing or empty alt text • Missing form labels • Contrast issues • ARIA issues and missing accessible names • Structural issues such as missing skip links, missing main landmarks or unclear link text It also includes a simple BFSG scope helper. This provides a preliminary indication of whether a website is probably in scope, probably not in scope or still unclear based on audience, transaction flow and company size. This is only a preliminary assessment and not legal advice. Accessibility Audit is designed to stay lightweight, readable and practical. It does not replace a full manual accessibility review, but it helps uncover technical issues quickly and makes them easier to discuss and fix.
