StreamTutor: Learn Languages on Netflix

Click any word in Netflix subtitles and hear what it means in that line. 5 free explanations a day.

Learn languages with Netflix: click any word in the Netflix subtitles and a teacher explains what it means in that line, out loud. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open a show on Netflix in Chrome. StreamTutor shows dual subtitles: the language you're learning on top, your own language underneath. 2. Click a word you don't know. The film pauses, and the teacher explains the word in its line, out loud, in your language. 3. The word turns gold in the subtitles and stays gold. It becomes a review card with the line you met it in, so your vocabulary grows episode by episode. LANGUAGES Language learning with any Netflix show or film that has subtitles in the language you're learning: Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Russian, Arabic, Dutch, Turkish and more. The teacher explains in your language. StreamTutor's menus come in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. StreamTutor works with Netflix in Google Chrome on a laptop or desktop computer, with your own Netflix subscription. PRIVACY StreamTutor runs only on Netflix. It reads the subtitles of what you're watching so it can explain them. It uses your microphone only when you start Say it: your voice goes through our server to OpenAI to be transcribed, and we keep no recordings or transcripts.
