Rayito for Chrome

An optional, free companion that helps Rayito find and fill website controls on sites you allow.

Rayito for Chrome connects the Rayito Mac app to the websites you choose. Ask Rayito to research options, work with an existing page, prepare a draft, or fill an ordinary form. It can reuse relevant tabs, complete several related steps, and organize existing or new task tabs into clearly named Chrome groups. The extension is free and optional. It requires the Rayito Mac app, a Rayito account with an active trial or plan, and your own supported ChatGPT or Claude subscription connected through the Mac app. There is no separate extension fee. Open the extension and choose Enable website access to approve HTTP/HTTPS websites once through Chrome. You can choose specific websites instead and remove access at any time. Merely installing the extension or opening its popup does not grant website access. Incognito and Chrome's protected pages are not supported. Rayito uses Browser Harness through Chrome's debugger connection to inspect and operate exact authorized task tabs. The AI connection you select can generate page programs; a local sandboxed coordinator runs the browser workflow, and page JavaScript executes in the authorized page through Chrome's debugger API. The extension rechecks website grants and tab identity. Chrome may show its debugging banner; dismissing it ends that debugging connection. Stop in Rayito stops browser work. Switching to another app or tab does not redirect the task. New tabs can join a relevant existing task group or a new group named for the task. Existing tabs stay in their groups unless you ask Rayito to organize them; custom group names are respected. Only tabs created by the current task can be closed by that task; completing or stopping a task does not automatically close its result tabs. To find a page for your requested task and ask for permission, open-tab titles and URLs can pass to Rayito and your selected AI provider before website access is granted. Page content and browser actions require website access. During requested tasks, permitted tab and group metadata, page text, form values, page-related network information, action results and requested screenshots can pass to Rayito on your Mac and your selected AI provider. Page programs and screenshots do not have universal sensitive-data filtering. Ordinary text, URLs, images and data available to a website's JavaScript can contain personal or sensitive information. Do not include information you do not want that provider to process. Rayito can show source photos and saved visual results. It stores result text, source links and image references in local History. The Mac app loads observed source images directly from their hosts without copying Chrome cookies or credentials; reopening results may load the images again. Dismissing a result card does not delete its saved history. The extension has no analytics endpoint or page-content archive of its own.
