Every AI you open treats you like a stranger. You re-explain your work, your projects, your preferences — every single chat, every single time. Abigail fixes that, and keeps every word of it on your own computer. Abigail is a personal librarian for your AI. She notices the things worth keeping, files them away, and hands them back the moment you open your next chat — so the AI already knows you. Left alone for a while, she also goes back through the stacks, groups memories that belong together, and tells you what she noticed. WHAT SHE DOES - Remembers, quietly: when you type something worth keeping ("I'm planning a trip to Lisbon in March", "my daughter is allergic to peanuts"), Abigail saves it to your local memory before the message is even sent — nothing to click. - Hands it back: as you type, she quietly finds the memory that fits and slips it in ahead of your message, so the AI picks up right where you left off. This is on by default; one tap on her pill turns it off, and you can ask for it by hand too. - Keep a reply: save the AI's last answer to your memory with one click. - Organizes on her own: between conversations, she groups related memories onto shelves of their own and lets you know what she noticed — no extra effort from you. Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini are supported out of the box, along with most other major AI chat sites — plus any custom AI you add yourself. SHE WORKS FOR YOU AND NO ONE ELSE To do her job she reads what you're typing and the reply that came back, and adds what's relevant to your message before you send it. All of that happens on your own machine. Your memory lives there too, in the Abigail app's local database, and the extension talks only to your own computer (127.0.0.1). There is no Abigail cloud to send anything to -- we can't read your memory because we never receive it. Your conversation still goes to your AI, and only your AI.
