Smarter word sizing A new scaling option lets you switch between linear and logarithmic sizing. Logarithmic scaling prevents a single very common word from dominating the whole image, giving balanced, professional-looking results even with lopsided text. See changes instantly with live preview Turn on live preview and your cloud updates automatically as you edit text or adjust any control — no need to click a button after every change. Renders are cancelled and restarted intelligently so the preview always keeps up. Powerful word filtering Getting a clean cloud used to mean editing your text by hand. Now you can do it in the app: - Merge words by lowercasing so "The" and "the" count as one. - Remove common filler words (the, and, of, to…) with a single toggle. - Strip out numbers, set a minimum word length, and cap the maximum number of words shown. - Maintain your own exclusion list of words to hide. Frequency panel with one-click exclude A new panel lists your most frequent words alongside their counts. Click any word to instantly remove it from the cloud — perfect for quickly cleaning up names, boilerplate, or anything you don't want to feature. Export in high resolution Save your cloud at 1×, 2×, or 4× resolution for crisp results on high-DPI screens and in print. Export as PNG, JPEG, or WebP, and every file is named with a timestamp so your downloads stay organized. Transparent backgrounds are preserved in PNG and WebP and flattened cleanly to white for JPEG, so your image always looks right wherever you use it. A more polished, reliable experience Version 3.1 also fixes a long list of issues under the hood: - Punctuation, curly quotes, dashes, and symbols are now stripped correctly, so there are no stray marks or blank "words" in your cloud. - "The" and "the" are counted together, so word sizes reflect true frequency. - Copy and Save now report success or failure with clear on-screen messages, and always produce a valid image. - Image dimensions are safely limited so extreme sizes can't freeze or crash the tab, and high-resolution exports stay within your browser's limits. - Interface text now displays correctly in right-to-left languages such as Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, and Urdu. - Numerous smaller refinements make the app faster to load and lighter to run.
