Overview

Get desktop notifications for Kick and Twitch streamers.

Aar318's Stream Notifier: Live Alerts for Twitch and Kick Keep track of your favorite Twitch and Kick streamers from any browser tab. Stream Notifier adds a draggable floating button that opens a responsive dashboard showing who is live, along with thumbnails, viewer counts, favorites, and quick links to each stream. New Features: - The panel now resets to the top every time it opens, including desktop, mobile, and extension-icon entry points. - Added a clean, private Insights dashboard with current activity, lifetime totals, performance records, streaks, platform breakdowns, and a compact 14-day chart. - Added independent statistics export and reset controls. Resetting insights never changes profiles or settings. - Corrected notification delivery bookkeeping so failed userscript notifications are not marked as delivered. - Insights is hidden by default and opens on demand from Settings → Stats for Nerds. - Non-Streamers tabs remove the add/scan form, and Ko-fi/Donate labels no longer wrap or collapse. - Imports now return to Streamers, Insights can be hidden from Settings or its dashboard, and Twitch default/reset placement matches the space immediately after the More menu. Key Features: Twitch and Kick Tracking: Monitor individual creators on either platform, or track the same creator on both platforms from one entry. Live Desktop Alerts: Receive click-to-open notifications when a tracked streamer goes live. Cooldowns, duplicate protection, and grouped alerts help prevent notification spam. Fast Streamer Management: Add streamers manually, detect creators from supported pages, scrape your Twitch following list, or use the extension-icon menu to add or remove the current Twitch or Kick channel. Profiles and Favorites: Create separate streamer profiles, import or export profiles, and pin favorites to the top. Favorites can also use a custom alert sound and volume. Flexible Dashboard: Search and filter by Twitch, Kick, or both; hide offline channels; switch among Full, Compact, and Mini layouts; and open live streams directly from their cards. Custom Appearance: Includes dark mode, seasonal holiday themes, custom colors, adjustable button and panel opacity, Simple UI mode, responsive mobile layouts, and a lockable floating-button position. Site Exclusions: Hide the global overlay on selected domains or URL patterns while continuing to use the extension elsewhere. Backup and Restore: Import or export configuration files, create backups manually, or enable deduplicated automatic backups with configurable retention from 1 to 50 copies. Toolbar Shortcuts: Right-click the extension icon to open the panel, check streamers immediately, add or remove the current channel, or open support links. The icon badge shows the current number of live streamers. Privacy Focused: Streamer lists, profiles, notification history, backups, and preferences are stored locally in the browser. The extension does not use analytics or send this information to an external tracking server. Permissions Usage: Storage: Saves streamer lists, profiles, exclusions, notification history, appearance settings, and optional configuration backups locally. Notifications: Displays system alerts when tracked streamers go live. Context Menus: Adds extension-icon shortcuts for opening the panel, checking now, managing the current Twitch or Kick channel, and opening support links. Host Permissions: Allows the floating dashboard to appear on browser pages and permits live-status requests to Twitch and Kick. Background network requests are restricted by a strict Twitch/Kick domain allowlist. This extension does not require a Twitch or Kick login for live-status checks.
