Aar318's Smart Sound Scaper
Overview
Reshapes the current tab's audio with accessibility-focused volume, clarity, and dynamic-range controls.
**Aar318's Smart Sound Scaper** Reshape an audible browser tab with local accessibility-focused Web Audio controls. Choose a preset or tune volume, dialogue clarity, bass reduction, and peak protection yourself. **Key Features** - Normal comparison, Balanced, Dialogue Clarity, Night, Focus, and Custom profiles. - One-click toolbar start/stop using the saved profile, with an ON badge while processing. - Toolbar right-click opens an in-page sound-control panel, allowing live profile and slider adjustments without leaving the audible tab. - Adjustable output level, speech-presence boost, bass reduction, and dynamic peak protection. - Processing continues through a Chrome offscreen audio document until Stop is pressed. - Audio remains local: it is not recorded, uploaded, transcribed, or analyzed by a server. - Explicit status and error feedback when a tab cannot be captured. - Clean responsive controls with Aar318 support links and visible version information. **Privacy & Permissions** - `tabCapture` accesses only the active tab after the user presses Start. - `offscreen` keeps the local Web Audio graph alive while the user returns to the page. - `storage` remembers sound controls. **New Features (v1.0.0.0)** - Initial Chromium-only release with one-click toolbar capture, persistent local tab-audio processing, a neutral comparison profile, and more distinct dialogue-focused filtering.
