Sports Score HUD adds a compact, movable overlay with live, upcoming, and optionally completed games. **Getting Started** 1. Install the extension and pin it from your extension menu for easy access. 2. Click the extension icon, choose the leagues and favorite teams you want to follow, and save the initial setup. 3. Click the icon on a supported webpage to open or close the movable score HUD. Protected pages use the built-in toolbar scoreboard instead. 4. Open Settings to adjust refresh timing, completed-game visibility, favorite behavior, domain access, appearance, and toolbar badge preferences. **Key Features** - Coverage of major professional and college football, basketball, baseball, hockey, and soccer leagues. - When favorite pinning is enabled, every favorite game scheduled today stays above unrelated games; remaining games are grouped live-first, then upcoming and completed. - Searchable, multi-select favorite-team picker with official team logos and complete-league selection. - Configurable favorite-first toolbar badge shows a live score, next start time, or same-day W/L/T result; total live games remain the fallback. - Detailed favorite-game tooltip with matchup, score, phase, and available live situation information. - Automatic score refresh with 30-second, 1-minute, 2-minute, and 5-minute choices. - Full and compact HUD layouts with drag-and-drop placement, mobile-conscious sizing, and reset-position control. - Explicit ESPN and official-league game destinations where available. - Full-page auto-refreshing dashboard with all-score and favorites views, filtering, and fullscreen support. - Separate on-demand standings screen with a league picker, team logos, and sport-appropriate columns. - Condensed conference or division standings available directly in the movable page HUD. - Inactive-season handling can show the previous season and the provider's published upcoming-season start date. - Optional custom palette with Reset and Randomize controls. - Domain allow/block controls and locally stored preferences. - Toolbar clicks follow the saved choice between the movable page HUD and complete score dropdown; protected or browser-internal pages use the dropdown fallback without redirecting away from the current page. - NFL and college-football scoreboards show the complete current week followed by the previous week. - No sports-account sign-in or authentication required. **Data & Permissions** - Public score and standings data is retrieved from ESPN services; availability and fields can change. - Public baseball schedule data supplies official per-game fallback links where available. - `storage` remembers leagues, favorites, layout, visibility, standings cache, and domain rules. - `alarms` performs periodic score refreshes. - `contextMenus` supplies toolbar actions, Settings, Ko-fi, and Donate. - Website access displays the optional HUD and applies user-defined domain rules.
