There's no backend and no account — research runs on Cursor Cloud Agents using your key, and everything else stays in your browser. — WHY POV NEWS — Most feeds rank for engagement. About you — Who you are and what you want news about, in a few sentences. 2. Pillars — An agent suggests 4–6 topic pillars from your description. Edit or accept. 3. Sources — Pick a preset bundle or paste your own RSS / site URLs. 4. Calibration — Rate a handful of sample items so the scorer learns your taste. After that, each run discovers fresh articles from your sources, scores them against your POV, and writes the digest straight to your new tab. — PRIVACY — POV News is local-first and has no backend: • Your POV, digests, ratings, and history live in your browser's local storage. • Your Cursor API key never leaves your browser except in the calls you make to Cursor. • Article discovery fetches public RSS feeds and article pages directly from your browser. • No analytics, no tracking.
