Overview

Paste a passport screenshot, decode the MRZ with local OCR, and autofill the current form. Fully offline. Nothing is stored or sent.

Local Passport MRZ OCR and Autofill Scan the machine-readable zone (MRZ) of a passport from a screenshot and fill traveler details into web forms. Everything runs on your device. HOW IT WORKS 1. Use your system screenshot tool to copy the passport MRZ area to the clipboard (macOS: Control+Command+Shift+4, Windows: Win+Shift+S). 2. Open the extension and paste the screenshot (Cmd+V or Ctrl+V). 3. OCR and MRZ decoding run locally in your browser. 4. Review the detected passport information. Check-digit results are shown for each field. 5. Fill matching fields on the current web page with one click. SUPPORTED INFORMATION - First name - Last name - Passport number - Date of birth - Gender - Nationality - Issuing country - Expiration date FEATURES - ICAO 9303 passport MRZ (TD3) support with check-digit validation - OCR model trained on the OCR-B passport typeface - Works with forms on any website, including React, Vue and Angular forms - Fills text inputs, date inputs, dropdowns, radio buttons and split day/month/year fields - Never submits a form automatically - No cloud OCR, backend or account required PRIVACY The screenshot and the decoded passport data are processed only in the extension popup and are discarded when it closes. Nothing is stored and nothing is sent anywhere: the extension makes no network requests and contains no analytics or remote code. TIPS For best results the two MRZ lines should be sharp and at least about 700 pixels wide in the screenshot. Zoom the page or capture a larger area if the extension warns about low resolution.
