Overview

Easy to use quick checks to identify potential accessibility issues.

A11y Quick Check is a browser extension for manual accessibility testing. It surfaces potential WCAG failures and coding anti-patterns directly on the page, giving you a high-level view of issues without leaving your browser. Each check explains what was found and why it matters, making A11y Quick Check a practical learning tool as well as a testing aid. Developers can see accessible coding patterns in context, building knowledge alongside their workflow. Checks include - Accessible names on interactive elements and images - ARIA roles, states, and properties - Heading and landmark structure - List and table semantics - Live regions and status messages - Target size and spacing - Form labels, grouping, and error handling Every effort has been made to ensure the checks accurately identify both invalid code and failures to meet WCAG success criteria. However, some false positives may occur. False positives and reported bugs are fixed when identified. Version: 2501.2025.7.5 View the 'About A11y Quick Check' link at the foot of the extension for the changes log.
