Blood Parrot Cichlids, with their distinctive heart-shaped mouths and bright orange-red hue, are a hybrid species believed to be a cross between Midas and Redhead Cichlids. Beside them, the yellow, speckled fish with prominent fins are Flowerhorn Cichlids. These fish are also a product of hybrid breeding, selectively bred for their unique patterns and the large, fatty hump on their foreheads, known as a "kok." Both of these species are a testament to the fascinating world of ornamental aquaculture. They exhibit complex behaviors, including territorialism and parental care, making them a popular, though controversial, choice for aquariums.
