Overview

Metadata Validator for Parse.ly

**Update: This tool now has the metadata persist until tab refresh/close and can be used on multiple tabs** This is a validation tool for the Parse.ly Content Analytics platform. Use this Chrome Extension to confirm your integration with Parse.ly is where your team expects it to be! First, visit the URL you wish to test, and launch the extension. From there you can "validate" the URL to see what the current status is of your webpage, from a Parse.ly -integration perspective. The validation process will determine whether or not the Parse.ly tracker is currently on your page, or if there are any issues. The same goes for metadata, as the validator will confirm whether there's Parse.ly-expected metadata on the page, and if so, what the metadata is. The validator will also render a small preview of the URLs metadata (if it exists) and supply the thumbnail image, title, tags, section, and a small excerpt of the content. To use the extension again after initial use, simply re-launch!
