SteelCentral Aternity Extension

Application performance monitoring, part of SteelCentral Aternity Agent

The full SteelCentral product monitors user experience in the enterprise - from desktop document opening, via mail delays, up to application and system crashes. This chrome extension is part of the full product and is not intended for a standalone installation. It monitors web usage and reports navigation and in-app operation times to the monitoring enterprise team. To achieve this the extension requires full tabs, webRequest, webNavigation, idle and management permissions - and of course, permission to access all http/https navigations. To report the aggregated monitoring to the workstation's local SteelCentral Aternity agent, the extension requires the nativeMessaging permission. The SteelCentral product in its entirety and the chrome extension in particular adhere to strict security and privacy standards - including GDPR and HIPAA.
