Install it to find answers fast — without first having to go to your site, online community or customer portal to search. An external user will be asked to log in. CONVENIENT. Keep your default search settings intact. SearchUnify doesn’t replace your default search engine. HOW TO SET UP Install. Click on the extension icon. A small pop-up window will appear near the icon. The window has a field titled “Please Enter the Query URL”. Enter the base search URL in the field. Identify Base URL: The portion of the search URL between https:// and ?searchString= (including both) is the base URL. For example: https://www.searchunify.com/?s=Search%20Result#!/search?searchString= USE Click anywhere in an empty address bar. (Press Ctrl+A and Backspace if the address bar is not empty.) Type su (in lowercase letters) and press space. Enter your search query and press Enter.
