This plugin enables the user to load the Google search engine results page for a specific location and language.
This is a Chrome extension that enables the user to render the SERPs in any region with the region's respective languages. It also has the functionality to store the user’s desired SERP preferences under predefined user presets.

this just seems to be a launcher for new windows with the url parameters set. it doesnt seem to apply the paramters to google search tabs by default. meaning this desnt set the geolocation for google search from that point on, it seems to be a manual launcher no better than a bookmark?

Very handy tool! I've set my google region to an English-speaking one to avoid dealing with inaccurate/worse search results (such as Wikipedia articles), because google search focus its results on the user's set region, instead of the language they prompt the search with.
