Overview

A true quantum random number generator.

This random number generator uses the ANU Quantum Random Numbers Server. This extension offers access to true random number generation and allows the user to specify bounds for the random number. The random numbers from this extension are unique to each user and transferred securely. There is an offline mode which utilizes an optional quantum seed with cryptographically secure algorithms and the Park–Miller RNG to generate pseudorandom numbers. Good random number extension in concept, re: using the QRNG api. However, the UI is unusable: * too small, cannot even see the 3 input fields * cannot resize the UI * does not persist (remember) the last used set of inputs The UI is just a very small/tiny pop-out box from the extensions area. Ideally, either pop out with a new window or open a new tab; either would then have a usable UI. If the extension is updated, I may update my review. Until then, meh.

Very cool! I wish there was a way to increase the size of the window so I didn't have to scroll to see all of the input fields. I also wish that the generator would remember which numbers I used last so I didn't have to keep retyping the parameters in every time. Bonus points if it remembers the numbers uses last AND generates a random number from that range when you click the extension icon. That would make it top-notch.

Would love it if it saves the settings. I'd love using it for min. of 1000 and max 9999 but after every refresh it is back to the 1 state.
