Overview

Quickly switch tabs using the omnibar

OmniTab lets you search your tabs with the omnibox. To start, you type in the keyword "o" in the address bar, and tap space to activate OmniTab search. Then, type in the name of the tab that you want to find and press enter.

Does work, but could be much better. 1. You'll just jump to one of the open tabs that matches the query 2. You can't select any other match. 3. There's no way to preview where you'll go 4. The extension has access to all your tabs, but isn't open sourced like Fauxbar.

Fast, simple, and effective. Does what it says on the box. ;-) Feature requests ---------------- 1. I really wish I could set a keyboard shortcut for this. Personally, Sublime Text has me used to typing Ctrl+P for this functionality. 2. One other problem I have with this is that I often forget what tabs I have open and end up with a bunch of duplicates; this extension doesn't solve that problem because I have to be explicitly searching for an existing tab in order to find it.
