Ntercept is an HTTP traffic capture and analysis tool for developers, built for debugging and API reverse engineering, with a strong focus on ease of use and a simple, intuitive interface. The goal is to make inspecting requests, responses, headers, and payloads more accessible, cutting down the complexity usually associated with traffic analysis tools. Everything runs locally in your browser. There is no backend, user account, sync, or telemetry. Captured data only leaves your machine when you export a file or use replay. —CAPTURE Choose between three profiles, depending on how much detail you need: metadata only (method, URL, status, timing), request and response headers, or full capture including request and response bodies. Capture is always limited to a single tab, chosen by you. —ANALYSIS Virtualized list for large sessions, with search by URL or by content inside headers and bodies, plus filters by method, status, host, and resource type. The detail panel shows parameters, headers, bodies, and a JSON viewer. You can compare two requests side by side, with a line-level diff. —SECRET DETECTION A built-in pattern catalog, running entirely in the browser, can identify requests that appear to contain potentially sensitive authentication data or credentials. Detection is performed locally and is intended to help developers identify accidental exposure of sensitive information during debugging. —REPLAY AND CODE GENERATION Resend a captured request with an editable draft of method, URL, headers, and body, or paste a curl command to resend it. Generate equivalent request code in several common development formats and programming languages. —IMPORT AND EXPORT Import and export captured sessions using standard HTTP archive formats, as well as structured data, request bundles, and API collections. You can export the whole session or only the currently filtered requests. —PRIVACY BY DESIGN Turn on optional redaction to replace sensitive headers and body fields with a marker before the data is written to local storage, so the original value is not persisted on disk. Exporting a session containing detected sensitive information requires explicit confirmation. —INTERFACE A popup provides quick access to capture controls, while a dedicated analysis page is available for larger sessions.
