Overview
Protect yourself against online threats, like phishing and malicious websites, with real-time protection from Microsoft.
Currently supported region(s): United States The Microsoft Defender Browser Protection extension helps protect you against online threats, such as links in phishing emails and websites designed to trick you into downloading and installing malicious software that can harm your computer. I guess it worked fine, until it didn't. Now it's flagging my AOL inbox repeatedly, closing the site and presenting a great big red warning. I have to keep going down to the bottom of the alert and select "Continue Anyway (not recommended)" Problem is, it's loaded by policy onto a work laptop and I can't switch it off or disable it. Big PITA right now.
