Overview

Barometer Extension

Barometer uses AI to read between the lines quickly and consistently. This Future Picture X Barometer Chrome Extension empowers people to score content they see online, prior to engaging with it emotionally or sharing it with others. Readers can see scores for how much editorial bias, colloquialism, and sensationalism are present in the content they are reading. Barometer was founded in 2019 by Tamara Zubatiy and Grant Nelson. In 2020, they began working with Kevin Kells, founder of Future Picture on solutions for de-polarizing political discourse in the United States and abroad. This tool is one such solution, and we are excited to get the community’s feedback.
