Overview

Converts volume metric of ingredients to weights

If you love to cook but hate that recipes try to give you measurements of granular solids in liquid volume, i.e. cups of sugar, than this app is for you. Go to any one of the sites listed below and it will convert the recipe automatically. foodnetwork.com foodnetwork.ca allrecipes.com epicurious.com tasty.co delish.com The measurements I use to covert are listed below to give you some background under the hood information, all listed as grams per cup: All Purpose Flour: 120 Baking Powder: 192 Baking Soda: 144 Brown Sugar: 180 Butter: 226 Cocoa Powder: 113.4 Cornmeal: 170 Cornstarch: 127.6 Granular Sugar: 200 Powdered Sugar: 200 Self-rising Flour: 113 Sifted Flour: 110 Future versions will include the ability to attempt conversions on non-listed websites as well as the ability to edit the grams/cup. This is the initial version and may be a little buggy. Would love to hear your feedback. Please email me at foodscaleextension@gmail.com with thoughts and suggestions. Cook smart!
