Overview

Provides a way to adjust how long a Google Task takes on Google Calendar

Duration for Google Tasks: Elevate Your Task Management Experience! Transform the way you manage tasks in Google Calendar with Duration for Google Tasks, a simple yet powerful Chrome extension that streamlines your scheduling process. This tool automatically adjusts the height of tasks in Google Calendar based on the duration specified in your task titles, providing a clearer and more intuitive overview of your schedule. Key Features Dynamic Task Height Adjustment: Automatically resizes task blocks according to the duration specified (e.g., 1h, 30min, 1.5h). This visual representation makes it easier to allocate your time effectively and spot overlaps in your schedule. Clean Calendar Display: Seamlessly hides time information (e.g., 1h, 30min) from task titles in Google Calendar while preserving it in Google Tasks. This keeps your calendar visually tidy and focused on essential details. Responsive Design: Task heights recalibrate whenever you resize your browser window, ensuring consistent visuals across all screen sizes for an optimal user experience. How It Works To get started, simply add the duration in parentheses to your task title in Google Calendar (e.g., "Create Product Requirements Doc(1.5h)"). Duration for Google Tasks will automatically adjust the height of the task block to reflect your specified duration, making your calendar more organized and visually appealing. Why Choose Duration for Google Tasks? It's surprising that Google Tasks doesn’t include this feature by default! I understand that effective time management is essential. Duration for Google Tasks provides a simple yet powerful solution to visualize your schedule more intuitively. Enjoy dynamic height adjustments, a clutter-free calendar, and a responsive design that enhances usability and clarity. Get Started! Add Duration for Google Tasks to your Chrome browser today and discover a smarter, more efficient way to manage your tasks in Google Calendar. Take control of your time and make scheduling a breeze! Tip: You might need to refresh Google Calendar after installing the extension so that it works properly!

Exactly what I was looking for, thanks! Super easy and very helpful. *Note to Others: After installing the extension, you might need to refresh/reload your calendar. I was adding the time duration at the end (e.g." Send Follow-Up Email (15m) ") but the task size wouldn't adjust. I exited Google Calendar and reopened it and ta da! That original task resized and now when I create more tasks they resize as soon as I save them.
