Overview
Contextualize web content with information about people, places, creative works, culture and history drawn from LINCS.
Take LINCS data with you as you browse the web! The Context Explorer scans for entities that might be found in LINCS* data, and highlights them on the page. By matching a highlight, users can learn about an entity’s properties and connections to other LINCS entities. How to use: - Scan any webpage’s text for possible matches (PDF & page images won’t scan) - (Optional) Filter by entities and datasets; or adjust scanning settings - Select a highlight to explore - Choose the matching LINCS entity - Explore the entity’s properties and connections Disclaimer: Please note that the Context Explorer is currently under active development. Content is still being refined (so it may not find matches for particular entities) and functionality is regularly updated. Links to ResearchSpace may not work. We welcome feedback! *About LINCS The Linked Infrastructure for Networked Cultural Scholarship (LINCS) enables researchers to create interlinked and contextualized online data about culture to benefit scholars and the public.
