A browser extension to clean your bookmarks

Bookmark Cleaner let you to organize your bookmarks in for Google Chrome™. The only feature enabled is the removal of duplicates bookmark. Depending on the user feedback new features can be implemented as removal of non-existing links and lexical sorting of bookmarks.

I just removed over 2,000 duplicate bookmarks (I know, it's a bit excessive). I double-checked to make sure there were no unexpected surprises and was pleasantly surprised to see that it prioritizes removing duplicate bookmarks from the more logical option of two exact or similar folders, retaining the folder with more bookmarks.
