Plays all audio and video content at 4/5 speed (slower and at lower pitch).
This browser extension adds a switch that reduces the playback speed of media content (first and foremost, the podcast "Wie war der Tag, Liebling?" in the ARD Audiothek) to 4/5 or 80%, also lowering the pitch of voices. A much requested effect among "Lieblingen". A Note on Security Warnings (Permissions) When installing this extension, a standard security warning will show, stating that the extension 'can read and change all your data on the websites you visit.' This is a default warning that applies to any extension that modifies the content of a page. We use this permission strictly for one purpose: to add the little icon and the necessary code to slow down the media content. The extension is designed to be privacy-first: It does not collect, read, transmit, or store any personal data, browsing history, or user input.
