Overview

Converts .3mf downloads from any site to Snapmaker U1 format. Supports Bambu Lab, PrusaSlicer, and standard 3MF.

Converts .3mf files to Snapmaker U1 format, right in your browser. Two ways to use it: AUTOMATIC: Download a .3mf from any site (MakerWorld, Printables, Thingiverse, etc.) and the extension intercepts it, lets you adjust the filament mapping, and saves the converted file. MANUAL: Click the extension icon and drop in a .3mf you already have on disk. Works with files from any slicer: • Bambu Lab / OrcaSlicer • PrusaSlicer / SuperSlicer • Standard 3MF format • Generic files (falls back to single PLA filament) Features: • Filament mapping UI with color picker (56 presets + hex input) • Drag-and-drop slot reordering • Automatic Tree Support detection • Recognizes files already configured for U1 and skips unnecessary conversion • Preserves original filename (saves as "Model Name-U1.3mf") • Option to download the original unconverted file • Handles any number of filaments, maps them to the U1's 4 slots Everything runs locally in your browser. No data is sent anywhere, no account required, no server involved. The converted file opens in Snapmaker Orca for final slicing. Open source: https://github.com/ericreid/3mf-to-u1
