3CX Smart Groups enhances the 3CX Web Client interface to make team communication easier to manage. The extension allows users to organize colleagues into custom groups, apply color coding to user tiles, and add visual markers for quick identification of important contacts. It also adds convenient status controls and visual indicators directly to the 3CX interface, helping users see availability and react faster during daily call handling. These features improve visibility of team presence and reduce the time needed to find the right person. The extension works with both hosted 3CX systems and self-hosted PBX installations. For custom installations, the user can manually grant access only to their own 3CX web client address. No personal data is collected, transmitted, or stored outside the user’s browser. All settings are saved locally in the browser storage and are used only to customize the appearance and behavior of the 3CX interface. This extension is not affiliated with or endorsed by 3CX.
