Overview

Offline TOTP two-step verification code manager: one-click scanning of webpage QR codes, batch migration and import from any…

2FA is a TOTP two-factor authentication tool that runs in the Chrome browser, helping you generate, view, and manage dynamic two-step verification codes on your computer. When logging into GitHub, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, social media platforms, developer tools, or enterprise backends, you no longer need to constantly pick up your phone; simply click the extension to get the current 6-digit verification code. Main functions • Generate standard TOTP/OTP dynamic verification codes in your browser. • Click the verification code to quickly copy it, and it will display the remaining validity period of the current verification code. • Scan the QR code for identity verification displayed on the current webpage. • Supports uploading, pasting, or dragging and dropping QR code screenshots for recognition. • Supports manual input of service name, account, Base32 key, verification code length, and refresh cycle. • Use group management for work accounts, personal accounts, and other accounts for different purposes. • Quickly search for verification codes by service name, account, or notes. • Supports independent window mode, facilitating simultaneous handling of login and verification operations. • Supports light, dark, and system-following interface themes. • You can set a password lock and an automatic lock time to reduce the risk of others directly viewing the verification code. • Data is stored locally in the browser by default, and no third-party account registration is required. • You can choose to synchronize data between browsers via Chrome's built-in sync channel. • Does not contain advertisements, remote scripts, or unnecessary web page access permissions. Migrate from other authenticators When switching phones, reinstalling browsers, or wanting to transfer verification codes from Google Authenticator to your computer, you can import them in batches via migration QR codes, files, or text, without having to re-link each account individually. You can preview the recognized accounts before importing, and then add them all at once after confirmation. Accounts in the original mobile authenticator will not be automatically deleted during the import operation. You can decide whether to keep the copies from the original device after confirming that the verification code is working properly on the computer. Backup and Export To mitigate the risks associated with device damage, browser reinstallation, or accidental account deletion, regular backups are recommended. The extension supports exporting accounts as JSON backups, a standard OTP AUTH URI text list, and saving as PDF via the browser's print function. Individual accounts can also generate QR code images for easy migration to other authenticators compatible with standard TOTP. The exported file may contain account keys used to generate CAPTCHAs. Please save the file in a trusted location and do not upload it to public cloud storage, chat groups, or other places that anyone can access. Suitable for which users? • Frequently log in to websites that require two-step verification on your computer. • Users using GitHub, cloud services, servers, enterprise backends, or developer platforms • Developers or operations personnel who manage multiple work accounts, test accounts, and personal accounts. • Users who want to reduce switching between computers and mobile phones • Users who need to migrate, organize, or back up their Google Authenticator verification codes • For users looking for a lightweight Chrome TOTP, OTP, or 2FA CAPTCHA management tool How to use After installation, click the extension icon in your browser toolbar to open the CAPTCHA list. When a website enables two-step verification, click the scan button to recognize the QR code on the current page, or upload a QR code image, paste an OTPAuth link, or manually enter the key. To copy the CAPTCHA code when logging into the website again, simply open the extension and click the corresponding CAPTCHA. You can also use the right-click menu to scan the current page, press Alt+Shift+S to quickly scan the QR code, or press Alt+Shift+V to open the CAPTCHA database in a separate window. Privacy and Permissions The extension uses storage permissions to save account information and settings, uses contextMenus to provide a right-click menu, and uses activeTab to read the visible screen of the current tab when you actively click to scan. The extension does not continuously read browsing history, nor does it inject scripts into visited web pages for extended periods. Verification key is important authentication information. Even if an interface password lock is enabled, it is recommended to keep recovery keys safe and make offline backups, and avoid storing all login credentials for highly sensitive accounts on the same device. This extension's code is open-source on GitHub, where users and developers can view the code, report issues, or suggest features. The extension is also listed on product discovery platforms such as Product Hunt, Zenodo, AlternativeTo, Uneed, and SaaSHub, and has passed Cure53's security assessment. Users are welcome to try it out and leave honest feedback. We will continuously improve image recognition, page compatibility, and batch download experience based on community feedback.
