2FA Manager keeps all your two-factor authentication (TOTP) codes in one place, right in your browser toolbar — and automatically synced to your Google account so you're never locked out on a new device. WHY 2FA MANAGER Losing access to your authenticator app when you switch phones or wipe a computer is one of the most common ways people get locked out of their own accounts. 2FA Manager solves this by storing your keys through Chrome's built-in account sync — sign in to Chrome on any device and your codes are simply there. KEY FEATURES • Live codes at a glance — every saved account shows its current 6-digit code with a countdown ring, right in the popup. • One-click copy — click any code to copy it, with the clipboard automatically cleared a few seconds later. • Smart account setup — scan a QR code straight off the page you're already on (no download needed), upload a saved QR image, or paste an otpauth:// link. • Automatic Google account sync — your keys travel with your signed-in Chrome profile across every device, using Chrome's own storage sync (no separate account or server needed). • Encrypted backup & restore — export all your keys to a file protected by its own backup password (separate from any device lock password), and import it back on any device. • Optional master password — turn on an extra AES-256 encrypted lock for the popup itself, with configurable auto-lock timing. Off by default; entirely your choice. • Backup/recovery codes storage — keep each service's recovery codes attached to the matching account for when you need them. • Search, light/dark theme, and a clean, fast interface built for daily use. PRIVACY & SECURITY Your secret keys never leave Google's infrastructure that already backs your Chrome profile — 2FA Manager does not send your data to any third-party server. All cryptography (TOTP generation, optional AES-256-GCM encryption) runs locally in your browser using the Web Crypto API.
