Then you spend ten minutes typing them one key at a time — the same email, the same form, the same prompt you could have said out loud in forty seconds. 1Transcribe Dictation gives you that time back. Put your cursor in any text box in Chrome, click 1T, and say what you mean. Your words appear at the cursor, punctuated, ready to send. WHY PEOPLE KEEP IT INSTALLED • You speak about three times faster than you type. A long reply takes roughly a minute. • It works in the tab you are already in — no separate app, no window to switch to, no copy-paste. • Your hands get a break. If typing hurts by the end of the day, this is the fix. • Writing in a second language gets easier. Say it in the language you think in, or dictate in one of 37 supported languages. • The blank page stops being a wall. Talk it out first, tidy it after. WHERE IT WORKS Any editable field on any website: email drafts, docs and notes, support tickets, job applications, long web forms, comment boxes, chat, CRM notes, and AI chat prompts. If you can click into it and type, you can dictate into it. IT COMES OUT CLEAN • Real punctuation and capitalisation, not one long run-on line. • Say "comma", "period" or "new line" when you want to place them yourself. • Teach 1T the names, jargon and product terms you use, so they are spelled right every time. • Pick a language or let 1T detect it automatically. • Review before it lands: press ✓ to insert, ✕ to throw it away. THREE WAYS TO START DICTATING 1. Click the floating 1T control next to any text box. 2. Click the 1Transcribe icon in your toolbar. 3. Unlimited dictation needs a paid subscription — current pricing and billing terms are shown before checkout, and you can manage or cancel it from Settings. BUILT TO STAY OUT OF YOUR WAY The 1T control can be moved anywhere on the page, hidden on any site you choose, or turned off entirely so only the keyboard shortcut works. PRIVACY BY DESIGN • Before first use, 1T shows its complete data-handling disclosure and waits for you to choose "Agree & continue". Nothing is created or sent before that choice. • The microphone opens only when you start a dictation, and closes when you finish it. • A dictation you discard is never sent for transcription. • Page content and existing field values are never sent to 1Transcribe or to analytics. Your text is inserted locally. • Dictation audio and returned text are processed and dropped — they are not saved as account transcriptions. • The current site origin is used locally only for the per-site visibility setting. • Analytics are limited to a fixed allowlist of operational events and never contain audio, transcript text, authentication tokens, vocabulary, webpage URLs, or field contents. • If you sign in, the extension stores your email, user ID, authentication token, and subscription state.
