Link and Folder Management • Hierarchical Organization: Create, edit, and nest shortcut links inside custom folders up to 3 levels deep. • Multi-Select Management: Select multiple links for batch organization or deletion. • Drag-and-Drop Organization: Reorder links and folders with protected nesting boundaries. • Display Customization: Toggle link titles or use an icon-focused layout with hover behavior. Themes and Media Backgrounds • Dynamic Material You: Automatically derive adaptive interface colors from custom background images and supported video media. • Theme Presets: Choose from built-in visual themes including dark, OLED, Material You, and other aesthetic presets. • Local Media Storage: Store custom images and looping videos directly in IndexedDB. • Remote Media Support: Use HTTP(S) image or video URLs as custom backgrounds without downloading them into local storage. • Media Preview: Preview custom images and videos directly within Settings, including full-view playback for video backgrounds. • Clock Display Options: Select from multiple clock typography styles, 12-hour or 24-hour formats, and optional seconds. Settings and Customization • Dedicated Settings Page: Manage dashboard, personalization, search, background, and data settings from a standalone Settings workspace. • Settings Search: Quickly find settings across categories, including controls inside expandable sections. • Keyboard Navigation: Navigate settings controls and selection lists using the keyboard. • Expand/Collapse Controls: Quickly expand or collapse individual settings sections or the entire Settings page. Backup and Data Management • Complete JSON Backups: Export dashboard configuration, links, folders, settings, search data, and supported background media into portable JSON backups. • Safe Restore: Restore backups with validation and protection against conflicting IDs or malformed data. • Local Persistence: Application state is stored locally using LocalStorage and IndexedDB. • Factory Reset: Clear application data and restore the dashboard to its default state. Local-First Privacy Architecture • Device-Only Storage: Shortcut layouts, settings, and search history remain stored locally on your device. • Zero Telemetry: No tracking scripts, remote analytics, or advertising systems. • No Account Required: Use the dashboard without creating an account or depending on a hosted backend. • Data Portability: Export and import your configuration using lightweight JSON backup files.
