Make a webpage easier to show and easier to read. Hide & Highlight blurs the words you choose and highlights the phrases you want people to notice, together on the same page. Prepare a cleaner screenshot, guide attention during a presentation, or make important parts of an article easier to find. What you can do: - Use separate lists for blur and highlighting at the same time. - Enter a word, a phrase, or several terms separated by semicolons or new lines. - Match whole words or turn on case-sensitive matching. - Apply a rule to the current tab, or explicitly remember it for a site. - Choose a ready-made palette or customize the background, text color and optional shadow. - Pause, resume or remove the effects while keeping your entered words. - See match counts, use light or dark appearance, and keep working when page text updates. No account is required. Rules and preferences are stored in your browser. The extension does not send your webpage text to a service and has no analytics. Blur is a visual effect. It does not remove the underlying text or provide secure redaction. Browser pages, PDF viewers, some protected sites and embedded content are not supported.
