Find recipes on Xiaohongshu and turn text, on-device OCR, and video transcripts into clear cooking steps.
Maomao works only on Xiaohongshu pages and helps turn recipe notes, image-based recipes, and cooking videos into clear, actionable cooking instructions. How it works: 1. When a page contains signals such as food, cooking, recipes, or baking, Maomao slides down from the top-right corner. 2. The extension reads the current note only after you click Maomao. 3. Visible text is organized directly. Images are processed with on-device Chinese and English OCR. Video audio is transcribed on-device with Whisper. 4. Video transcripts are shown immediately, then the EasyCooking backend structures them into a title, ingredients, prep, steps, and tips. 5. Copy the finished recipe or generate a local QR code to import it into the EasyCooking app. Privacy: - OCR, transcription, and backend requests run only after user action. - Original images, video, and audio are never uploaded to the EasyCooking backend. - Only extracted note text, OCR text, and transcripts are sent for recipe formatting. - The extension does not access Xiaohongshu cookies, sign-in data, favorites, messages, or browsing history. - QR codes are generated locally.
