Overview
迷惘時的擲筊小程式
This is a mystical ritual from traditional Taiwanese Taoism. Whenever people in Taiwan feel lost or uncertain about their direction, they visit temples to pray to the deities for peace and guidance. After making a wish or asking a question, they perform "Poe Divination" (擲筊) to see if they have the deity's approval and permission, or if it is not advisable to proceed. The deities' reach is believed to be boundless; therefore, no matter where you are in the world, you can still make a wish and ask for their guidance to find inner peace. When users feel lost or uncertain about their direction, they can run the "Poe Divination" mini-program for guidance. After the user presses the "Cast Poe" button, one of the following three results will be randomly displayed: Divine Response (聖筊, Shèng Jiǎo): Indicates the deity's approval or agreement, suggesting that things will go smoothly. Laughing Response (笑筊, Xiào Jiǎo): Means the deity is amused, undecided, or finds the question unclear. The outcome is uncertain. Angry Response (陰筊, Yīn Jiǎo): Represents the deity's denial or disapproval, suggesting that it is not a good time to proceed. After a result is shown, the user can press a button to cast the blocks again.
