YouTube subtitles as full lines: hover a word to translate it (plus the whole line), video auto-pauses while translating.

Replaces YouTube's word-by-word auto captions with readable sentence/phrase-level line captions, and lets you hover any word in the subtitle to instantly see its translation (with dictionary & transliteration) plus the translation of the current whole line. The video auto-pauses while you translate, and resumes when you move away. Highlights: - Line captions: auto captions grouped into sentences/phrases (1-3 lines configurable), manual captions rechunk or keep-as-written, song lyric protection, live-broadcast fragment repair, long-pause auto-hide; - Hover translation: instant word/phrase translation, 130+ languages, auto source detection, per-word translation for Chinese/Japanese/Thai and other space-less languages; - Shift-drag multi-select: hold Shift and drag across words to translate a phrase; - Translation master switch: turn translation off to keep only the line-caption display, with zero hover interaction; - Auto-pause while translating; your own manual pause is never overridden; - Whole-line translation shown together with the hovered word's translation (current line only, cached); - Engine fallback chain: Google (default) → Bing (optional) → MyMemory (automatic when the first two are unreachable, so translation works even behind restricted networks); - Appearance: 21-grid position presets + custom position sliders, caption width slider, 6 bundled fonts, size/color/background/outline/bold, and fully customizable tooltip style (font/size/bold/color/background opacity/edge); - Local cache: translations stored on your device for instant repeats; - Feedback: an anonymous "Feedback / Suggestions" page inside the extension (optional diagnostics, unchecked by default); - Privacy: no personal data collected; translated text is sent to a translation service (Google / Bing / MyMemory) only when you hover; feedback content is submitted only when you press send yourself.
