Select any region on your screen and the text is recognized instantly and copied to your clipboard. ■ Chinese and Japanese, recognized offline Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese and English — all four language models ship inside the extension. Most OCR extensions have to send your screen to a server to read CJK. The few with a Chinese interface still do the recognition in the cloud. This one doesn't. Nothing is downloaded at runtime, so there's no wait on first use, and it works on a plane. Right-click the toolbar icon to switch.
